The Ghana Internet IGF Steering Committee has announced the 2023 Internet Governance School Fellows

Today, on May 30, 2023, The Ghana Internet Governance Forum (IGF) made an exciting announcement regarding the selection of 33 individuals as Fellows for the 2023 Ghana Internet Governance School (GIGS) program. The chosen Fellows represent participants from a wide range of stakeholder groups, emphasizing inclusivity and diversity.

The primary objective of The Ghana Internet Governance School (GIGS) is to provide a platform for individuals from various sectors and backgrounds to acquire essential skills and knowledge in order to actively engage in internet governance discussions at the community, national, regional, and international levels.

By fostering the development of these skills, The Ghana Internet Governance School (GIGS) aims to empower its participants to make meaningful contributions to internet governance discourse in their respective spheres of influence. This comprehensive program equips Fellows with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of internet governance, fostering their ability to address emerging challenges and opportunities in the digital landscape.

The Ghana Internet Governance Forum (IGF) recognizes the importance of diverse perspectives and inclusiveness in shaping the future of the Internet. Through initiatives such as the Ghana Internet Governance School (GIGS), competent and capable individuals who can actively participate in the Internet governance debate and develop policies and practices that ultimately benefit Ghana and the broader global digital community. We are building a community of knowledgeable individuals.
