Brief Bio
Victor Asante is a Principal Manager for Research and Innovations at Ghana’s Universal Service Fund, GIFEC. Since 2010, he has led key research initiatives, including Ghana’s first Digital Divide Survey, and studies on ICT access and use in rural and marginalized communities. A strong advocate for innovative connectivity models such as Community Networks, Victor actively participates in global multistakeholder dialogues, including ITU’s WSIS, the Internet Governance Forum, and the African School on Internet Governance. A 2015 CPRsouth Young Scholar, he holds a master’s in development studies from ISSER University of Ghana, specializing in research, M&E, and project management.
